Contest Rules (“Rules”)

CONTEST PERIOD
"The Patio @ Quinte Mall" (“Contest”) will run until 8:00 pm on Friday September 8th, 2023 (“Contest Period”). All times are Eastern Time. The Sponsor’s clock is the time keeping device for this Contest.

CONTEST SPONSOR
The sponsors of the Contest are Quinte Mall and Primaris Management Inc.(individually and collectively “Sponsor”).
ELIGIBILITY
No purchase or payment necessary. The contest is open to any resident of Ontario, and must reside in the Quinte Region, and at the start of the Contest Period, is 15 years of age or older, except that employees of, members of the immediate family of, or those domiciled with, an employee of Primaris Management Inc., Quinte Mall, or their respective affiliated or related companies, retailers at Quinte Mall, service providers at Quinte Mall, and the consulting, advertising, and promotional agencies and administrators used in connection with the Contest, are not eligible to participate. Immediate family consists of parents, siblings, children, and spouse.
GRAND PRIZE
There will be weekly prizes valued at $50 ("Weekly Prize") consisting of one (1) $50 Quinte Mall gift card (One contest entry per receipt photo upload. Each receipt can only be entered one time)

The Prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable, assignable, or convertible to cash, except as may be specifically permitted by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute the Grand Prize, or a component thereof, with an item or items of equal or greater value, including, without limitation, but at Sponsor’s sole discretion, a cash award. If the Grand Prize, or a component thereof, is not claimed it will be forfeited. If the Grand Prize, or any component thereof, cannot be awarded in accordance with these Rules, it will not be awarded.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
During the Contest Period, visit "Food Court Tenant of the week" and dine on our patio. Scan the QR code to the contest ballot link and upload a photo of your receipt from the "Food Court Tenant of the week".
The odds of winning the Grand Prize depends on the number of online ballots received during the Contest Period.

WINNER SELECTION FOR GRAND PRIZE
On or before each Friday until September 8th, 2023 at 12 p.m. at Quinte Mall office, one (1) eligible entrant will be selected by random draw from among all Grand Prize Entrants submitted and received in accordance with these Rules.
Sponsor will make a minimum of three attempts to contact the selected entrant for the Grand Prize in the two-day period following the random draw by phone. In the event Sponsor is unable to contact the selected entrant in such two-day period, such eligible entrant may be disqualified at Sponsor’s sole discretion, and Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, hold another random draw to select another entrant from among the remaining Grand Prize Entrants, in which event the provisions of this section will apply to such newly selected entrant. If an eligible winner has not been confirmed as a winner by the Monday following each draw date, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, such eligible winner may be disqualified and the Prize may not be awarded.
GRAND PRIZE WINNER CONFIRMATION PROCESS
Before being declared a confirmed a Grand Prize winner, the potential winner must confirm compliance with these Rules, (ii) acknowledges acceptance of the Prizes as awarded, (iii) releases the Contest Sponsor its affiliates, subsidiaries, prize suppliers, advertising/promotion agencies, and any entity involved in the development, production, implementation, administration, judging, or fulfillment of the Contest, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any liability in connection with this Contest, and (iv) confirms the winner’s agreement to the publication, reproduction, and/or other use of his or her name, address, voice, statements about the Contest, and/or photograph or other likeness without further notice or compensation, in any publicity or advertisement carried out by or on behalf of Sponsor in any manner, including, but not limited to, print, broadcast, and/or the Internet (including, but not limited to, social media).
If an eligible winner of the Grand Prize: (a) fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question, (b) fails to return the properly executed Contest documents as outlined herein, (c) cannot accept, or is unwilling to accept, the Grand Prize as awarded for any reason, and/or (d) is determined to be in violation of these Rules, all as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, he or she may, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, be disqualified (and, if disqualified, will forfeit all rights to the Grand Prize), and Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion and time permitting, to select an alternate eligible entrant for the Grand Prize in accordance with the procedures outlined in these Rules, in which case the foregoing provisions of this section will apply to such newly selected potential winner of the Grand Prize.
This Contest is subject to all applicable laws, and the Contest and the interpretation of these Rules are governed by the laws of Canada and Ontario. The decisions of the Sponsor with respect to all aspects of this Contest are final and binding on all entrants without right of appeal. Anyone determined to be in violation of these rules for any reason is subject to disqualification in Sponsor’s sole discretion at any time.
The Released Parties will not be liable for the failure of any entry and/or other information to be received, captured, or recorded. An attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages as permitted by law.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, amend, or suspend this Contest, or to amend these Rules, without prior notice for any reason.
By entering this Contest, each participant expressly consents to Sponsor, its agents and/or representatives, storing, sharing, and using the personal information submitted only for the purpose of administering the Contest and in accordance with Quinte Mall’s privacy policy, as applicable, available at http://www.quintemall.com/pages/quinte-privacy-policy, unless the participant agrees otherwise.
By participating in this Contest, each participant automatically accepts these Rules and automatically releases the Released Parties from any liability arising in connection with the contest.
In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between these Rules and other materials, disclosures, or statements (including, but not limited to, Contest-related advertisements), the terms and conditions of these Rules will prevail.
